2007-2008 Season

The Milton basketball teams' home games Friday and Saturday against Northview and Kell will mark the first time Northside basketball programs have partnered with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's “Think Pink” program to heighten cancer awareness.

“Think Pink” is a WBCA-sponsored awareness campaign that encourages everyone to wear pink in support of coaches battling cancer. Fans are encourages to wear pink to both games to show support for the cause. Pink ribbons, T-shirts and other items will be available at the games as well.

“I know very few people who have been untouched by cancer, particularly breast cancer,” said Milton Lady Eagles Coach Kim Coleman, who lost two siblings to the disease. “I hope through continued research a cure will be found in my lifetime.”
