The International Thespian Society is an international honor society for students who demonstrate excellence in high school theatre.  Thespians attend an annual conference every February and participate in community service activities including their annual charity drive for “Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat.”  Thespians are also in charge of the Drama Club, which is a group of students who are interested in theatre and hope to become members of ITS in the future.  ITS inductions are held in December and April.

Thespian Conference 2007 was wonderful!  Of the 25 students who attended, 7 competed in Individual Events and one (John Yi) was invited to perform in Saturday's closing IE Showcase.  In addition, Rachel DeJulio, Joey Martineck, and John Yi all auditioned for colleges and received callbacks from a wide variety of schools.  To top off the weekend, John Yi was awarded with the Linda P. Wise Performance Scholarship for excellence in his audition.  We are so proud of everyone and look forward to Conference 2008!
