Wednesday morning is the last day to pay for your place on our trip to the Atlanta Civil and Human Rights museum. Bring
your $15 to Ms. Pope in room 509. Anyone is welcome to attend. There are 14 seats remaining. We travel to the museum
on 3 rd  November, make sure you have a consent form to circulate to your teachers for permission to attend this field trip.

National Art Honor Society will meet after school on Wednesday from 3:40-5:30.  Plan on being at the meeting for the
entire time.  Artists will “speed date” with National English Honor Society authors to find a match for illustrating children’s
NAHS – Wednesday 3:40-5:30.  Be there.

The Northview Side-by- Side tutoring club will be meeting this Wednesday after school in the Media Center. Come for free
tutoring in almost any academic subject!

This Friday your Northview Titans play North Atlanta High School at 8:00pm. The game will be played at Grady Stadium
located at 929 Monroe Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA. Come out and support the varsity football team.

Tickets are now on sale for the Northview Theatre Company’s one act competition play, Spinning Into Butter, which will be
performed October 19, 20, and 21 at 7 pm in the Northview auditorium. You can buy tickets online

Come out and support your Titan football team tonight when we play Dunwoody HS.  The game will be
played at North DeKalb Stadium located at 3688 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee GA.

A reminder to the Junior Class – Balfour will be on campus Tuesday, October 3 rd at lunch and again in the
afternoon to collect your orders for class rings. They will bring samples of rings for you to view. If your
parents want to see the samples, The Balfour Rep will be in the front lobby from 3:30 to 6:30pm on

To all the Beta members, there is a mandatory Beta meeting next Monday at 7:45 in the auditorium. If you
cannot make it, please email northviewbetaclub@gmail.com 24 hours prior to the meeting to be taken into
consideration for an excused absence

If your parents did not pick up your EOCT Score Reports at Curriculum Night, you may pick them up from
the Counseling Office any time before October 6 th .

There will be a Boys Basketball Parent / Player, Pre-Tryouts information meeting on Monday, Oct 2 nd  at
7pm in the Media Center.  All boys who plan to tryout should attend with a parent.

The RC Aviators Club will be meeting Monday, October 2nd in room 105, right after school. You will be
building your own model airplane to fly later in the year. Club dues of $20 will be collected at this meeting.

The First Aid For All, first aid kit drive for the hurricane victims has been extended until Thursday, October
12 th , 10 am. If you are donating first aid kits please label the kit with your name, language arts teacher,
period, email and whether or not you are a BETA Club member, then drop it off in one of the donation
boxes located in the media center or the clinic. Every two first aid kits donated will equal one BETA
volunteer hour and you can earn up to a maximum of 3 hours. Each first aid kit is equivalent to two dollars
so don't plan on spending more than that. Some places where you can get these kits would be The Dollar
Store, Walmart, Publix, and a lot more.  The language arts class that donates the most amount of first aid
kits will earn a HUGE pizza party on October 13th, the day before homecoming! So please make sure to
come and donate and make a change!
