The Governor's Office of Student Achievement has again presented Northview with the Silver Award for placing in the top 4% of schools in Georgia in which students met or exceeded state standards. Specifically, 96% of first-time test takers met or exceeded standards, with a minimum of 25% exceeding standards, on all five areas of the 2007 Georgia High School Graduation test. Only six high schools in Georgia met the criteria to receive this award. This is the third consecutive year that Northview has been recognized by the Governor's Office for exceeding standards.
Northview's Techno-Titans Robotics Team once again brought home the 1st Place award from the Georgia BEST Robotics Competition held at Southern Polytechnic. After a rough start, our Titans pulled together to earn a solid victory in the finals. The overwhelming support from Siemans has made our team's dreams into reality. The Techno-Titans will now advance to regional competition at Auburn University.
Ever Upward and Onward!
