Northview
High School was the 2004 Governor’s Cup recipient for Academic Excellence.
This award reflects the largest gain in SAT scores by any 5-A high school in
Georgia. In 2005, Newsweek Magazine named Northview as one of the top 1,000
high school in the United States. Also in 2005, Atlanta Magazine selected Northview
as a “best high school” in their review of metropolitan Atlanta Schools. These
accolades attest to the success of our mission in the area of academics.
