Many of us do not have the time to contact our legislators with every need we have to improve our schools and our child's educational experience.  Georgia PTA is offering to do that for you.  Please go to www.georgiapta.org and take the online 2007 Legislative Priorities Survey.  The link is at the top of the home page and very easy to see.  All PTA members are encouraged to take the survey including faculty and students.

Some of the issues on the survey include teen driving, obesity, the legal age a student can drop out of school, and the funding of school nurses.  You also have a chance to add anything that might be of interest to you but wasn't included in the survey.  Once the results of the survey are tabulated, the State Legislative committee will know which items to advocate/lobby for on your behalf.
