Drive Smart This year's Drive Smart program will be held again for this school year in the Spring of 2008. Drive Smart is a program that focuses on the risks and realities of teen driving. This year's revised program will include two speakers who will share personal accounts of how their lives have changed forever due to a few bad choices they made behind the wheel and, in addition, we will hear some tips and information from the Fulton County Police Department. We invite and encourage all students and parents to attend this impactful program and hope the importance of safe driving is made very clear. Like last year, this program is required for students wishing to obtain NHS parking permits for next year. The one exception to this is if they attended last year's program or viewed last year's program during one of our special showings. We do hope since this program is different from last year that we will still see many of you that attended last year's program! For more information about this program please contact Jackie Kidder. Monday, March 31st 2008 7:00pm NHS Auditorium Parents and students are encouraged to attend this program that will explore and share the importance of good decision making, the risks and realities that face our teen drivers. Please note that attendance at a Drive Smart Program is required by the school for all students applying for school parking permits during the 2008-2009 school year.If unable to attend this evening, a fall “showing” of the program will be held. |
