Created by the College Board, the Official Online SAT Prep Course is available at no cost to all public high school students in Georgia.

Fulton County School System
encourages students in grades nine through twelve to use this new online resource and to begin practicing today. The course may be accessed directly from the Georgia Department of Education website http://www.doe.k12.ga.us or www.satonlinecourseschool.com.

Students may access the Online SAT Prep Course Program 24 hours a day. Course features:

  • 18 interactive lessons (some with multimedia content);
  • Six full-length, official SAT practice tests;
  • Over 600 practice questions, which follow SAT specifications;
  • Explanations of answers to all questions;
  • Automated essay scoring; and
  • Personalized score reports for students; detailed student, class, school, and district-level reports for educators.

“We applaud Georgia’s initiative to promote equal educational opportunity by making the online course available to its students,” said Gaston Caperton, president of the College Board. “We are hopeful that other states will follow Georgia’s lead in making college preparation for all students a top priority.”

At the request of Governor Sonny Perdue and State School Superintendent Kathy Cox, the Georgia Legislature appropriated $1,000,000 to provide the College Board Online SAT Prep course to 9th through 12th grade students enrolled in Georgia’s public high schools. Georgia is the first state in the nation to provide this resource to all of its public high school students.
